In partnership with the Grigol Robakidze University and Azerbaijan International Education Managers Association, The Global Citizen Education Group is delighted to announce the International Youth Leadership Certificate Program (IYLCP) designed to engage secondary school students across West and Southeast Asia to create an impact on young global citizens through leadership.
IYLCP is an intensive 9-week online program designed to provide our student leaders an opportunity to understand different dimensions of leadership and equip them with necessary skills that will help them become leaders of today. The program will cover topics on global leadership, self-development, innovation, and problem solving. At the end of the program, students will present a simple project that addresses one of the global issues and a reflection in relation to what they have learned throughout the course.
With the goal of developing students to become global citizens through leadership, this intensive program will cover topics and workshops on different dimensions of leadership, self-development, innovation, and problem solving. Students who will be joining the program will gain international exposure and an added value on their personal and professional development.
Participants will have an opportunity to connect to like-minded students from Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. It is an avenue to create academic and cultural exchange as they participate in different sessions and workshops. By completing 7 out of 9 sessions, successful participants are eligible to receive a certificate of participation.
Joining the IYLCP will give you a platform to receive the latest information on different international programs, scholarships, and opportunities that you can get from the organizers. This network of organizations and students can also bring value to your academic and professional goals.
In collaboration with the speakers and organizations in this program, students will have firsthand information on the latest education and leadership trends, topics, and workshop approach. Moreover, participants will have access to various resources that the speakers will introduce during the sessions and workshops.
This program will be done fully online for nine weeks (every Saturday). This includes on-boarding and orientation on the first session and will culminate in a student symposium. All participants will be on-boarded to our online platform — The Global Citizen Academy.
