In partnership with The Global Citizen Education Group, the Harvard Undergraduate Global Education Movement (HUGEM) is delighted to announce the third edition of the HGEM Southeast Asia Workshop on Innovation and Leadership (HWIL SEA III) designed to engage and inspire the brightest young minds across Southeast Asia.
HWIL SEA III is an intensive weekend-long program designed to provide our participants with a deep understanding of leadership and to equip them with practical skills they can take back and implement in their everyday lives. The program will cover topics such as leveraging our networks, collaborating efficiently with team members, effective public speaking, as well as engaging in critical thinking and problem solving.
At HWIL SEA III, we will be focusing our discussions and workshops on two Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities & Communities and SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption & Production. We seek to challenge our students to think deeply about these complex global issues, and how individuals can work together within their communities and across the world to address issues around inequality and inequity.
Together, we will not only explore the challenges our planet faces but also discover the immense potential for positive change that lies within each of us. Join us in this transformative journey towards a greener, more sustainable world.
After two virtual editions, we’re coming to you in-person! Join us for HWIL SEA III in the following dates and locations!
