HGEM Workshop on Leadership & Innovation Southeast Asia II

About

About

HWIL SEA II is intensive two-weekend-long program designed to provide our participants with a deep understanding of leadership and to equip them with practical skills they can take back and implement in their everyday lives. The program will cover topics such as leveraging our networks, collaborating efficiently with team members, effective public speaking, as well as engaging in critical thinking and problem solving.

At HWIL SEA, middle and high school students will have the chance to network with some of the most ingenious minds in the world, transform their knowledge into impact, and drive innovation in their local communities. Under the mentorship of current Harvard students, our learners will immerse themselves in discussions and interactive activities that will help them master the fundamentals of leadership and understand the key role effective leadership plays in fostering innovative thinking.

Themes

We will be focusing our discussions and workshops on the Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Quality and Sustainable Development Goal 10: Reduce Inequalities. We seek to challenge our students to think deeply about these complex global issues, and how individuals can work together within their communities and across the world to address issues around inequality and inequity.
