This program introduces students to Model United Nations (MUN), covering foundational UN concepts and current global issues. Through simulations and workshops, participants will enhance their research, public speaking, and negotiation skills, preparing them for high-level MUN simulations and future career prospects.

Course Overview

This program offers a comprehensive introduction to Model United Nations (MUN) for students, guiding them through the foundational concepts and procedures of the United Nations while exploring current global issues. Participants will gain a deep understanding of UN protocols, rules, and the Harvard MUN model, preparing them for international conferences such as SMUN (Singapore Model United Nations) and WIMUN (WFUNA International Model United Nations). Through intensive simulations, interactive workshops, and discussions, students will sharpen their research, public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking skills. By the end of the course, they will be well-prepared for high-level MUN simulations, gaining insights into global affairs while building valuable skills for their academic and future endeavors.
