This intensive MUN course is specifically designed to prepare students for their participation in the WFUNA International Model United Nations (WIMUN) conference, in conjunction with an educational trip to attend the official conference taking place in New York in 2025.

Course Overview

This intensive MUN course is specifically designed to prepare students for their participation in the WFUNA International Model United Nations (WIMUN) conference, in conjunction with an educational trip to attend the official conference taking place in New York in 2024. Throughout this program, students will actively engage in simulations, interactive workshops, and in-depth discussions aimed at refining their research, public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking skills. With a curriculum focused on the procedures, rules, and protocols of the United Nations following the Harvard model, students will gain a deeper understanding of the UN system and be well-prepared for an internationally renowned model conference.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Form a team to participate in international conferences,
  • Understand Sustainable Development Goals, International Relations Issues, and MUN Principles,
  • Practice drafting Position Papers,
  • Practice debating and negotiation, developing and reconciling arguments,
  • Construct coherent and logical arguments,
  • Enhance critical thinking and independent research skills,
  • Practice public speaking skills and build confidence,
  • Collaborate well with team members.
